Bio

Courtney is a writer-director-producer originally from Chicago. After studying theater and art history at UCLA, she began writing sketch and stand-up comedy while studying improv and performing at Upright Citizens Brigade and iO West.

After years of creating and producing live comedy shows she now focuses her work behind the camera on narrative storytelling.

She is an alum of the mentoring programs with Women In Film , Project Mentor and is an American Zoetrope screenplay competition quarterfinalist.

Before Marriage, her romantic comedy short premiered at Mammoth Film Festival and was featured in an interview on Good Morning Texas.

Hermit, was distributed by Ficto TV, Wilde and screened at the 2019 Women in Film’s Shorts Night.
