Bio

Courtney is a writer-director-producer originally from Chicago. After studying theater and earning her bachelor’s degree in Art History from UCLA, she began writing and performing sketch, improv and stand-up comedy while studying and performing at Upright Citizens Brigade and iO West.

After years of creating and producing live theater comedy shows, she now focuses her work behind the camera on narrative storytelling.

She is an alum of the mentoring programs with Women In Film , Project Mentor and is an American Zoetrope screenplay contest quarter finalist.

Her last project, Before Marriage, an independent romantic comedy short series premiered at Mammoth Film Festival and is now available on YouTube. Her previous series, Hermit, was distributed by Ficto, Wilde and screened at the 2019 Women in Film’s Shorts Night.
